Who is a good candidate for a hair transplant?
Whether you’re considering a surgical transplant or the NeoGraft® automated transplant system, you’ll need to be in good health, have moderate hair loss, and have sufficient hair donor sites on the back or sides of your scalp.

How is hair transplant surgery performed?
During traditional transplant surgery, a donor site is selected and then hair is harvested in varying amounts. As few as one or two hairs along with a small piece of scalp can be removed using small punch grafts, or larger pieces of scalp can be removed that contain 30-40 hairs. After harvesting, the grafts are relocated to bald or thinning areas of your scalp, and then they’re inserted into small slits created in the scalp.
How is the NeoGraft® hair transplant different?
NeoGraft® is an automated hair harvesting and implantation system. It uses a state-of-the-art Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) device to extract hairs, then the hair is planted into the balding or thinning area using no-touch follicle implantation.
This technique lets you add thickness and density back to your hairline without many of the drawbacks of a traditional hair transplant. The benefit of the automated device is that it quickly and carefully extracts individual hairs from throughout your donor site so that the donor site remains natural-looking. Then the harvested hairs are automatically transplanted into the bald or thinning area and placed in a precise location one hair at a time. When the new hair begins to grow, it looks more natural than the surgical transplantation of one piece of scalp.
