The Vi peel is very effective when treating pigment on the skin. In addition to facial treatments, the Vi peel can also be used to treat sun damage to decolletage and hands. Sensitive indiviuals may experience a slight stinging sensation, which only last for a few minutes and controlled by the use of a fan during application. The Vi peel is safe and highly effective to be used once a month until you receive your desired results and then recommended to be used three to four times per year for skin maintenance.

For darker skin types that contain brown pigmentation, skin lighteners or pigment correctors are always recommended for pre and post care to prevent more brown spots. The Obagi or Bopp Lightener would provide superior results.

Also, in order to acheive optimal results, sunscreen of at least an SPF 30 is strongly advised to wear daily throughout having a series of chemicals peels and always, daily. After the week of your Vi peel, regular skin care can be resumed.
